Our Saturday Morning Visitor

This fine fellow was preening himself on our deck when we awoke on Saturday morning. I believe this is a male, but I'm not entirely certain. One would think it would be easy to tell the difference.
Turkeys are coming out of the woods regularly to eat the bird seed that falls below the feeders.

How delightful!
Unfortunately for us, we have to put birdfeeders away this time of year because it attracts bears.

What wonderful pictures! I've seen birdfood-stealing fat squirrels before, but NEVER a turkey!!!!

What an unusual birdfeeder visitor, I've never seen a wild turkey.
How is the Lace Ribbon Scarf going? It's very pretty and a lovely colour. I'm doing a pram blanket for the new grandchild that is due very soon. Knitting it is fine, sewing together all the little squares is the bit I don't enjoy. The main part is done and I'm on the border now though.
Hope to be a bit more regular with my commenting from now on.
