Very nice shawl. I like them more and more as I've started making and giving them away. :-)

Dear Paula,

I recently found your podcast and am enjoying it immensely. I am a native Central Illinoisian (Danville) who now lives in the Southeast. Thank you for a wonderful podcast - in addition to the knitting, I love the Nature Notes segment. Best, Jean

Hello Paula!
I first heard of your podcast from Susan at Knit-a-Journey and listened to her interview with you. I enjoy the friendly, chatting tone of your podcast and I loved hearing you read the latest E.Z. letter! I'm a new listener so I'm looking forward to going back to listen to the others. I own KWT by Elizabeth and I would say that that book is an introduction to truly "thinking" about knitting. Love it.
I have a great idea for a garter project. I wasn't a big fan of garter until I made this little sweater: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/b16-3-jacket-knitted-from-side-to-side-socks-and-hat-in-fabel
Seeing it done here is what won me over on it: rosylittlethings.typepad.com/posie_gets_cozy/2010/05/lichen-woods.html
It's not completely 'mindless', because you need to keep track of the short rows and the result is truly lovely. You must try it!
Thank you for your podcast...looking forward to more.
Ana
